We were at The Pearl in San Francisco for Laura and Kevin's wedding, and we are excited to share this exquisite dessert table. Their color palette combined purple, black, and gold. It is rich, warm and has a quiet intensity. It's mysterious yet stylish, and perfect for a moody, winter wedding!

Happy 2020 everyone!
As we begin a brand new year, we would like to offer our sincere thanks to our dear clients, bakers, suppliers and partners. Thank you for entrusting your business with us. Know that we at Sweet Events bay Area remain committed to providing you with personalized attention to your service needs and requirements. Cheers to more and meaningful celebrations this year!
We would like to tell you more about our Dreamforce 2019 experience. Let me just say that it was an exciting time for us since this was our first time to participate as service providers. We previously posted a few photos while we were at the event but they didn't come with much content.
What is Dreamforce?
It is an annual 4-day event that brings together the entire Salesforce community. It is held at multiple venues in San Francisco, and attended by LOTS of people. In 2018, that meant 170,000 registered attendees, so it is huge! There is never a dull moment in those 4 days. Attendees can discover new products, get hands-on with new technology, attend session workshops and hear the experts talk. Plus, lots of parties, food and drinks to go around!
For our part, we provided the Cupcake and Toppings bar, and made-to-order hot drinks at the Espresso bar for Congo, a company that provides digital document transformation solutions.
Attendees were able to choose their cupcake flavor, and decorate them with their favorite toppings (ten to choose from!). The cupcakes also came with "Congo" branded edible wafer toppers. Then, after decorating the cupcakes, attendees headed to the Espresso bar where they could order a hot drink from the menu.

Vanilla or Chocolate?
The Cupcakes had an edible wafer topping with "Conga" branding as toppers.
The decor we included at the toppings table were graphics featured in the posters on the walls (cotton candy, lollipop, and popsicle). We also made sure the "Conga" brand and the tag lines were prominent.
There were ten toppings to choose from!
Isn't this a fun cupcake?

2) Magic Spell books
3) Scary pumpkin and Ghoul propped back to back on a revolving table as a centerpiece
4) skeletons hanging on the glass jars
5) A Potion bar set up as a display containing "Snake Venom, Dragon teeth, Slug oil, Cloning potion, etc
6) Eye ball Bouquet
7) The treat bag area guarded by ghosts and skeleton hands carrying the signs.

August 2019 marks an exciting milestone for us at Sweet Events Bay Area. We're officially 5 years of being in business!
It started with a vision five years ago, and now we've grown to working with over 100 clients and corporate teams, of which 50% are return customers; we have graced nearly 70 event venues and private homes with our styled dessert tables and photo booth set-up; and have established a great network of partners in bakers and vendors.
We thank you, our clients, for allowing us to be a part of your special moments, and for the confidence you have placed in us. And, we thank you, our partners, for your continued support.
It has been an exciting five years, and we're looking forward to creating many more sweet memories in the Bay Area, one celebration at a time!
Let your dad know he's your number one!

This is a story about a little girl named Tessa who turned 6 years old this May, and wished for a Unicorn-themed birthday.
Upon hearing of Tessa's wish, her mother sought the help of Aunt Angel who knew about magical Unicorns living in some enchanted woods that wasn't anywhere, just a place one could dream of. And that's where Tessa and her friends went to celebrate.
That special place was guarded by two immaculately-groomed gold horses who stood watch over the sparkly-colored unicorns who lived there. It was a place where rainbow-colored clouds could be stored in jars, and white clouds were used as pillows for the Unicorns to sleep on. One of the adventures the Unicorns loved to do was to venture into the enchanted woods to collect magical wands made of pretzels! Tessa and her friends ate what the Unicorns loved to eat- Unicorn Toast made of Rice Krispies, Vanilla Cupcakes, Magical Sugar Cookies, Moon Kisses made of Vanilla meringue cookies, and Rainbow Candy Necklaces!
But alas, it was time to go. Tessa and her friends said goodbye to their Unicorn friends, and they were all deeply filled with joy!
We are so excited to share with you our Versailles-themed Dessert Table which we styled for a baby shower. We found creative inspiration from the Palace of Versailles in France- the epitome of opulence, lavishness and architectural grandeur. The table was decorated with ornate tapestry, gilded medallions, masks and feathers which are reminiscent of the Masquerade Balls of Versailles.
The guests enjoyed Cream puffs and Chocolate Eclairs, Sugar cookies shaped in baby items, Chocolate-dipped Strawberries, Chocolate-covered Oreos both with gold crown toppers, French Macarons, and Tiramisu shots.
Isn't this such a grand dessert table?

May your day be special!
"That your day, in other words, leaves you feeling like you’re known. And appreciated. And liked. And loved, for the person you are and the person you’ve been and the person you’re becoming — none of whom is perfect, none of whom pretends to be, none of whom would really want to be perfect or even hang out with someone perfect because perfect chokes all the laughing and the falling and the exploring and the growing out of life."

Scandinavian-inspired Dessert Bar At the Opening of Volvo's New Silicon Valley Tech Center in Sunnyvale
Understated...clean lines...careful craftmanship...wherever you look there is something that delights the senses"
-Maximilian Missoni, Volvo Vice President, Exterior Design on the new Volvo Luxury SUV XC60.
Choice adjectives uttered by Mr. Missoni, Volvo Vice President for Exterior Design. For us at Sweet Events Bay Area, these words served as our guide in creating Volvo's dessert bar. Marked by natural wood and metal materials, simple lines, and gourmet versions of well-loved classic dessert treats such as Twinkies, DingDongs, Berry Pies, and Chocolate Chip Cookies, the charming dessert table exuded elements of warmth, and a sense of familiarity. Inspired by the Scandinavian design, the table had a minimalist aesthetic that was high in function, low on fuss, and a delight to the senses from all the yummy goodness!
This was one of our special projects too because we not only created the dessert bar for Volvo, but also organized the food and drinks which consisted of a variety of quick bites, and the barista bar service for this event. The presence of the barista bar was a great addition. Aren't desserts and coffee a great pairing combination? Guests enjoyed an open bar of macchiato, cappuccino, espresso, latte, cold brew, americano and more. How awesome is that?
If you are interested to have us take care of the planning and coordinating of the food, drinks, and/or add an Espresso bar or Chocolate bar at your event, let us know.
Check out the photos below!
The broadcast team chose to hold their interviews right in front of the dessert table. (And yes, we were thrilled by that decision! )

We were thrilled that Google asked us to work with them again for their 2018 holiday party! Their theme was Winter Wonderland, a popular theme for us in 2018. We were tasked to create two candy bars. Since this event was a more formal affair, we took inspiration from the snow white landscape of winter but kept the bars simple, chic, and sophisticated.
This year's holiday party was held at the prestigious Bentley Reserve, the former San Francisco Federal Reserve and prominent landmark of the Financial District.
